Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney in 2019. She has been working in private practice, hospital and community settings since graduated and she has gained extensive experience in treating a variety of patients, including musculoskeletal conditions such as acute and chronic neck pain, low back pain, knee pain and shoulder pain; neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s disease and Huntington’s disease; post-operative rehabilitation and cardiorespiratory conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchiectasis.
Throughout the years of practice after graduation, Karen has developed her passion in helping seniors and people who suffer from pain and disabilities. She has a vision in helping them to relieve pain, improve their function, gaining independence in performing daily life activities and thus, improving their quality of life. She also understands the stress that the carers might have when looking after their loved ones. Therefore, she wants to be part of a team to provide care and support for them as well.
Karen always emphasizes the importance of putting our client’s health in her first priority. She is always willing to listen and understand the needs of her clients and their carers. She has a mission to ensure that quality treatment is provided in order to allow our client to have desirable outcomes and be able to achieve their goals.
